Best on the market February 10, 2008 H. Skinner (Anacortes, WA) Ohter than sticking together while cooking (despite stirring)I have found this product to have the most normal taste. I serve it to guests without telling them it is gluten free and they love it too!
Great for Celiac's People!! :) February 9, 2008 Cindi (Florida) I am so very happy someone makes Gluten Free Spaghetti! Very pleased w/this product!
The best gluten free pasta August 28, 2007 Donna (Wyoming) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Having celiac disease for 3 years now, I have tried numerous brands of pasta. I had given up, and then my local grocer started carrying this one.It is the closest to reg pasta , without that funny rice after taste. I only like the spagg. though, the elbows etc still have that funky taste.I even have this with just olive oil and garlic, no sauce needed to hide the taste.Be careful not to overcook it. I find it gets too gummy when overcooked. Also rinse well as was suggested.
Hands down best spaghetti! May 13, 2007 Jenn Vermeulen (texas) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Just be sure to rinse and rinse and rinse again! Otherwise, you won't escape the hint of rice in your sauce. Also, very sticky! So, coat with olive oil after rinse and before sauce.
I have to disagree March 23, 2007 H. Mitchell 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm afraid I disagree with the other two reviews. I thought this pasta was extremely bland and not very close to what wheat pasta tastes like. It does take longer to cook and you have to add oil to the water and stir it quite frequently or it clumps and sticks together terribly. It's an OK substitute but there are much better gluten-free pastas out there. Although the Glutino is cheaper, I personally like Orgran pasta 100 times better.
