This is a very fine pasta, so you have to treat it more like a vermicelli or angel hair pasta. I cooked it for 3 minutes, not 6-8 minutes, and then drained it immediately. Very good texture and great taste. I think someone just used the standard directions when they made the package and edited the copy.

I recently bought this product because I've had other Orgran products that were good and it was a fantastic deal.
However, it seems no matter how I cook this product, it instantly turns to mush. I've tried numerous times and different cooking methods. It is really inedible, and now I have an entire case that I feel guilty throwing away! This is definitely something to stay away from and spend the extra money on Tinkyada pasta.

Being the farthest from a picky eater, I have enjoyed many rice and corn pastas before. This product, however, is quite unlike anything I've ever eaten. It consistently becomes a slimy conglomerate dispite constant supervision of the pot, and does not improve with varied cooking temperatures. This very thin pasta consistently turns from an uncooked state directly into mush.
