Extend Bars are tasty, and the corn starch acts as a stabilizer for your sugar urges up to 9 hours. Therefore, they are great on a GI diet. These bars were developed for diabetics, altho they are used now for weight control & quick meals for athletes. The chocolate peanut butter is the most popular flavor, altho there are several others. Extend a bar appears to reduce my blood glucose number if i consume @8
p.m.nightly. As a substitute for my normal nightly snack it appears to
force my number down. For the longest time my blood glucose number stayed the same at 7 .am. as it was at 10 p.m. with no food intake.
I endorse this product based upon my experience. By the way,it is not to be confused with any candybar (powerbar) on the market.

Both my husband and I really enjoy the ExtendBars. They were recommended by my husband's diabetic counselor and they are a great snack at anytime. The taste and crunchy texture are excellent and he doesn't have to worry about raising his blood sugar. We have tried the peanut butter chocolate delight and mixed berry delight and have already re-ordered twice. The only improvement would be to have a box of mixed flavors so we could try them all.

Good tasting bar that keeps my blood sugar around 120ish in the morning. I also eat one around 10am to keep me from snacking all day long.

This product may help with your blood sugar but I really did not like the taste . I tried the Chocolate Peanut Butter, Peanut Butter, Apple Cinamon and their Berry flavor. Did not like any of them!
