2 out of 5 stars not your best choice for a cookie   August 29, 2008

these cookies are very hard and almost impossible to soften in milk. by accident the bag was left unsealed and in a day or two the cookies softened and tasted much better

3 out of 5 stars ok but filling inside just as hard as the outside   May 25, 2008

These were bought for my 6 year old autistic son. These are a little similar to the kinnitoos, but the filling inside is so dark my son at first didn't know there was any cream in the middle. Also the filling seems just as hard as the cookie itself. The cookie itself is not bad tasting. These are better for adults with a cup of coffee. It was a great price.

1 out of 5 stars Ick!   March 14, 2008

These are gross. My son loves cookies in just about every form we've found. Heck, he's 4, he's eaten dirt. But he won't touch these. The outsides are hard and the inside cream is brittle and gritty. I've tried heating them, soaking them in milk, crumbling in ice cream - no go. Just plain nasty. Maybe the birds will eat them. What a waste of money.

3 out of 5 stars Mi Del Double chocolate Sandwich Cookies   January 28, 2008

Mi-Del Gluten-Free Double Chocolate Sandwich Cookies, 8-Ounce Bag (Pack of 12)
I recently ordered these cookies and was pleasantly surprised how good they were. I enjoyed them for three straight days in a row. On the second day I started feeling bad, the third day worse, then I read the label and low and behold these "Gluten Free" Cookies are made in a factory that also produces wheat products! Couldnt believe it! How they can call this product gluten free when they also produce wheat products is beyond me. I mean really, how can they get every wheat spore out of the air and completely off the production line. If you are truly Celiac beware of this product and others from this company. It is 5 days later and am finally starting to feel better. I am assuming that a co. rep will read these reviews so thanks for your misleading labeling you morons! It should be refered to as "Gluten Friendly"

5 out of 5 stars Great Cookies!   January 15, 2008

Once you get past the fact that these cookies are HARD, you can enjoy the flavor! My daughter was recently put on a gluten free diet and she cannot get enough of these. I found I have to hide them from her and from her older brother who can eat anything he wants! He is actually complaining that she gets the good cookies all to herself! This is the second cookie I have tried by Mi-Del and she has loved them both. Highly recommended, but beware, that first bite will surprise you at how hard they are.
