This is a basic toaster. It looks nice from about 6 feet but up close you notice that construction materials are kinda cheap - it uses quite a bit of plastic. Given the construction I expect it to last about 6 years. I expect it is made this way to keep shipping weight from China down. My other complaint is that the toaster manages to over-complicate the 'cancel' function.

Great toaster. Toasts evenly, pops toast up high so you can grab it easily, and has a "cancel" button in case you want to take it out sooner, Also, very nice looking and doesn't take up a lot of space on the counter.

This product is cheap, cheap, cheap! On the second toasting this toaster's inside heating eliments quit working. Not only would I not buy this product again I now mistrust anything tagged Hamilton Beach. -Made in China.
