Product Description The Zojirushi 3 liter Panorama Window Micom Electric Hot Water Dispensing Pot boils water and keeps it hot at a set temperature for as long as its plugged in. The pot features an easy-to-read large wraparound Panorama Window water level gauge to check how much water there is left and a one-touch electric dispensing system for easy dispensing. It also has a large LCD display that shows actual water temperature at all times. Available temperature settings are 175 F, 195 F and 208 F. Reboils at 212 F. Features dechlorinate mode, descale mode, and safety auto shut-off.
Amazon.com Review A handy workhorse for homes where tea is a staple, this 3.0-liter Micom pot from Zojirushi boils water then keeps it hot. Equipped with a handy electric dispenser, the unit requires no pouring and makes it easy to fill mug after mug or add a quick shot of hot water to a bowl of oatmeal or ramen. A micro-computerized heating system monitors water temperature precisely and includes a re-boil mode and three keep-warm settings of 175, 195, or 208 degrees F. In addition, a dechlorinating mode helps reduce chlorine and odors, while a descaling mode cleans the interior pot. The unit also has a timer so you can program it to have water hot on your schedule. The pot's control touchpad is cleanly laid out, with satisfying buttons, function lights, and a digital display that shows present water temperature, temperature setting, and remaining time. An automatic lock helps keep fingers safe, and an automatic safety device cuts power to prevent overheating. Other helpful details include a wrap-around water level gauge, a 360-degree swivel base, a nonstick interior, a removable power cord, and a basket-style handle to simplify transport. The pot is no speed demon, taking about 27 minutes to boil a 3.0 liters, but its convenience makes up for the initial time investment. Zojirushi also makes the pot in 2.2-liter and 4.0-liter versions. --Emily Bedard

Another great Zojirushi Product. Well worth every dollar spent September 16, 2008 Lee H. Von Matsuyama (Pebble Beach, California United States) Zojirushi CD-LCC30 Micom 3.0-Liter Electric Dispensing Pot I have several Zojirushi Water Pots. But this one is my favorite. I received it as a Gift from my Aunt who loves Zojirushi Products. Between her house and ours we buy alot of Zojirushi Items and none of them have ever disappointed us... They are of very high Quality and as far as anything else: they last along long time... Buy this Water Pot and you wont be disappointed... Ours stays on during the day and its great because the Water is always hot and ready for a Cup of Tea.
Interior coating coming off August 31, 2008 W. Qin (MA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After two years' of continuous use, interior coating is coming off. A few rusty spots have developed in the past 6 months. The company's website does not provide a replace container. I liked the Zojirushi brand but this one seems a disappointment.
Great way to save energy and have hot water on demand July 30, 2008 Billie M. York Aberfarm (willis, tx United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This little pot heats up 3 liters of water in a flash and holds temperature with little power consumption compared to repeatedly heating a teapot on the stove. You can select the hold temperature, reboil or use 7 hour delay heating... Gets rid of chlorine and degases the water, hence water tastes better. The unit is teflon coated and so it doesn't rust like some cheaper models. To descale (get rid of calcium build-up) you can use 1/8 cup of vingear in the water, close top, boil and pump to dispense the acidified water; rinse and use all neat and clean. High quality kitchen device - Small foot pad - Looks great on counter top!
